CN&CO &Surfing &Fashion – a dead reckoning

Big congrats to the #DeadReckCrew for a sterling performance at the Vic Bay Quadrangular surf contest held in East London this past weekend. DeadReckCrew’s Tyrell Johnson (pictured above) dominated multiple age divisions and left with the title “Surfer of the Contest”.

Also known as the Border surfing team, DeadReckCrew is sponsored by our clients and friends at the amazing Dead Reckoning clothing store. By day, Jono Bruton – the legend behind the Dead Reckoning brand – works at Stephenson Insurance Brokers in East London. At night and on weekends you’ll find him working on the clothing range, or out on the ocean on his surfboard.

“The Dead Reckoning range is amazing,” says CN&CO’s Gabbi Rego. “It’s really edgy and quite exclusive. Plus it’s designed and manufactured in South Africa, which is always a big plus for me.”

Dead Reckoning isn’t CN&CO’s only link to the fashion world, however.

“We’ve also done some work with Busby and Retrosuperfuture, and our very own Rikus Kok just came back from a Pols magazine photo shoot in Mozambique for the Brands Luv U clothing range,” says Gabbi. “I’d say CN&CO is ready to take the fashion world by storm!”

Hands up if you thought we only do financial services.
