CN&CO bintan trip with Club Med 2018

Where were you at noon on Thursday 13 June 2019?

June has kicked off with a bang, our Chief Senór, Carel Nolte joined the global Club Med team at the launch of the refurbished La Plantation d’Albion resort in Mauritius, and hosted influencers and Vips from all over the world. Our resident Leb, Kurt Solomon attended the Lebanese Diaspora Conference in Beirut, Lebanon and CN&CO pulled off an incredible African Insurance Organisation event which was held at Emperors Palace on the East rand of Johannesburg.

In true CN&CO style, our team was making magic all over the country (and world) with and for our clients. Josh was operating from his home office, “thank goodness for technology and a good wifi connection” he says. Josh was klapping a few things – digital thinking and planning for a number of clients, a bit of research for the CN&CO festivals team; some insurance industry writing and planning for the upcoming months, as well as some data analysis for the team from Imagined Earth, this legend is always operating and making a difference for clients. Llewellyn, Francois, and Rikus had just pulled off an incredible AIO conference and were wrapping up post-event admin and finishing their strike down. The amount of hard work, long hours and energy that went into this event was admirable.

Carel was at the SAIA board meeting with the IISA CEO and President. Carel chatted about the upcoming African Insurance Exchange Conference which is happening from the 14th -17th July at Sun City with a jam-packed line up of exciting and diverse speakers and topics, have you booked yet? Allan, manning the CN&CO HQ and updating the SA Women’s Hockey social media and working on content for the FIA weekly communication. Neo had just met a new potential CN&CO client and was working on an action and timing plan for a few upcoming projects. Rob was pumping some iron in the gym and clearing the mind.

Colin was working from his home office, getting CN&CO’s BASA awards submission sorted and updating the AIO social media handles. Josie, all the way in Durban was fetching her two beautiful girls from creche while Blake, based in Cape Town, was working on the RMB rowing documentary from his favorite coffee/work spot – Bootleggers in Greenpoint.

Emi was at her favourite “out of office” work spot at Daytona auto, working on client blogs and a launch of a new CN&CO client “There’s nothing like a Ferrari engine revving coupled with a coffee to get my creative juices flowing”

Kurt had just landed from Lebanon where he attended the Lebanese Diaspora Energy conference and was dropping his bags off and having a shower before heading to CN&CO for a Lombard and FIA meeting.

Thabs was at her home office, doing RMB citations while Gianluca was working Club Med social and the FIA insights magazine pagination.

Another productive and diverse day for the CN&O team.
