What’s on: the CN&CO Events line-up

There’s lots on the go at CN&CO in the next few months, especially in terms of events. Here are some of the highlights:

InsureTalk2

Following on the success of our first InsureTalk event on 14 April, CN&CO will once again be hosting a virtual insurance conference on 14 May.

The event takes place completely online and attracts speakers from within and outside of the insurance industry, as well as an entertainment slot performed by a vocal artist.

Christmas in July, Mrs Simpson’s style

Mrs Simpson’s restaurant in Dullstroom will be open on 4 July 2020 for a special Christmas in July dinner to raise funds for the Dullstroom Epilepsy Centre.

Stephen and Bryan of Mrs Simpson’s are very involved in the epilepsy centre, providing help in the form of fundraising and food parcels, as well as visiting the centre’s 80 permanent residents on a regular basis.

The centre is a government facility that relies on disability grants for its survival. This income – when it comes in – is enough to cover the running of the centre, but there is still so much more that’s needed.

The Christmas in July fundraiser will help to supplement the centre’s income. Plus it promises great fun and sumptuous eating, as always at Mrs Simpson’s.

There will be a R100 cover charge for each patron and Bryan and Stephen ask that you bring a small “Secret Santa” gift with a maximum value of R100. The proceeds from the cover charge will go to the epilepsy centre, while the Secret Santa gifts will be shared among the guests.

Please note that all food and drinks consumed will be for your own account.

Feel free to dress in your favourite Christmas outfit.

Ho ho ho! See you at Mrs Simpson’s!

BOOK HERE FOR CHRISTMAS IN JULY – 4 July 2020, 7pm, Cost: R100 cover plus R100 Secret Santa gift, food and drink for your own account, Mrs Simpson’s restaurant, Dullstroom, Mpumalanga
