We’re grateful to know Colleen Magner

Colleen Magner chairs the CN&CO board. She is a remarkable facilitator, out-the-box thinker and really nice person.

The other day, three “Colleen” things happened in our CN&CO circle, which prompted us to put this little blog together. Good things happen in threes, too…

1. Blake attended an event on impact investing called Business in Society. The event brought together various stakeholders to discuss, among other things, some of the challenges faced by impact investors. (Colleen is on the left in the header image, doing her thang.)

2. During the day, a few of us received the latest newsletter from Reos Partners, where Colleen is managing director. The newsletter focuses on health equity and is aptly titled, “How can we create greater health and equity?” The newsletter contains articles on the topic from around the world, including the recently published EAT-Lancet report on the state of global health based on planetary boundaries and food systems. The report recommends how to create healthier diets from more sustainable food systems.

You can download the report here. Check out the Reos Partners blog for more stories and visit the Reos Partners website to subscribe to the newsletter.

3. At the end of the day, Colleen chaired our twice-a-year board meeting, where some exciting developments were discussed for CN&CO’s future. Keep an eye out over the next few months for details of CN&CO 2.0.

Thanks, Colleen, for being such a legend and a massive inspiration to all of us.
