We are calling on YOU to join Africa’s biggest cleanup!
On Saturday, 14th July the CN&CO team, partners, friends and family will be supporting Africa’s biggest cleanup – The Act for Change cleanup by hosting our very own.
About the Act for Change cleanup
“The Shoprite Group is staging Africa’s biggest cleanup at which over 6000 people in nine countries are expected to participate in almost 500 events from 14-18 July to remove waste from communities.
In doing so the Group hopes to launch a movement of active citizens who act for change by cleaning and keeping clean public areas. Plastic waste is putting the environment under considerable pressure with the equivalent of a garbage truck of plastic being dumped into our oceans every minute.”
This is an event for all! We are calling on everybody in our network to join us for an hour and a half to contribute to the movement and do our part in helping to rectify the damage we have done to our planet. Let’s join forces and enjoy some time under the winter sun making a difference.
