Watching TED Talks is a popular pastime at CN&CO. We visit TED.com regularly to clear our heads, have a laugh or get inspired. TED Talks open our minds, spark new ways of thinking and can lead to some very interesting conversations. Each week we pick a favourite and publish it on a Tuesday, because we like how “TED Talk Tuesday” sounds. This week’s talk was posted by Rikus. Here’s why he chose it:
Everyone at CN&CO gets a chance to post personal blogs – something which is not easy for me as I don’t believe that I am a strong writer. But whether it is our – I wish blog, Ink Link, or the TED Talk Tuesday we all have to do it – else Carel has an eyebrow lift! In July I did an Ink Link on John Sanei when he launched his latest book “Foresight” and when I saw this TED Talk I was reminded of my time speaking to John and asking his opinion about tattoos.
Could a tattoo really help you stay healthy?
There are so many opinions about people that have tattoos, some people really don’t like tattoos at all and other people love tattoos. This TED Talk will make you look at tattoos with a different mind-set on how they might actually help you in life instead of just the art aspect of a tattoo at the moment.
Like Carson Burns said – “In the future tattoos will not only be beautiful they’ll be functional too…”
