TED Tuesday #7 – Tim Harford: How frustration can make us more creative

If you haven’t heard of TED the organisation, perhaps you have seen or heard a TED Talk? As the mission statement on the website reads:

“TED is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world. On TED.com, we’re building a clearinghouse of free knowledge from the world’s most inspired thinkers — and a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other, both online and at TED and TEDx events around the world, all year long.”

This week’s talk features Tim Harford who explains “how challenges and problems can derail your creative process … or they can make you more creative than ever. In the surprising story behind the best-selling solo piano album of all time, he may just convince you of the advantages of having to work with a little mess.”
