TED Talk Tuesday #98 – How to survive following your passions

Watching TED Talks is a popular pastime at CN&CO. We visit TED.com regularly to clear our heads, have a laugh or get inspired. TED Talks open our minds, spark new ways of thinking and can lead to some very interesting conversations. Each week we pick a favourite and publish it on a Tuesday, because we like how “TED Talk Tuesday” sounds. This week’s talk was posted by Carel who has been lucky enough to attend a few TED, TEDx and TEDGlobal conferences over the years. Some of you may have experienced his passion over the years.

Living your best life may seem a silly goal to some. A bit new age for others. But in a world increasingly fraught with prejudice, mistrust, arrogance, inequality and despair, I think it is even more vital than ever to follow our passions – and in doing so, to live our lives to the fullest.

But following your passion can be hard. Very hard. And so I love this TED playlist which consists of a selection of talks I have found helpful when the going gets tough. I hope you do, too. And I hope you continue to have the courage, guts, perspective as well as love and support of those around you not only to follow your passion, but also to make all your dreams come true. Life is short. Don’t waste a single second.
