TED Talk Tuesday #154: Creative thinking and how to get out of the box and generate ideas

Watching TED Talks is a popular pastime at CN&CO. We visit TED.com regularly to clear our heads, have a laugh or get inspired. TED Talks open our minds, spark new ways of thinking and can lead to some very interesting conversations. Each week we pick a favourite and publish it on a Tuesday, because we like how “TED Talk Tuesday” sounds. It’s also a way that the CN&CO team play their part on spreading ideas and helping to make the world a better place. This week’s talk is posted by Llewellyn du Plessis. Here’s why he chose it:

Being part of the events team at CN&CO Events forces one to always think of new creative ways to improve our client’s brand awareness. We need to think outside the box and create experiences that are new and trendy to a specific target market.

I recently stumbled upon this TED Talk where Giovanni Corazza explained how to think out of the box and generate ideas in a better way. With Technology growing at a rapid speed we are all offered the same level of insights but it is how we process that information and our out of the box thinking that will help us be unique in our product offering.

Llew has been working with CN&CO since 2015. At first he engaged with us via his events company, Urban Motion. In 2018 he joined the greater CN&CO team and has run many successful events, including the African Insurance Exchange, InsureTalk, FIA Awards and Summit, African Insurance Organisation conference and the OR Tambo Memorial Lecture.
