Another installation of our favourite reality show, The Insurance Apprentice is out now! Episode 2 (sponsored by Emerald Risk Transfer) saw the contestants face a challenging task. They had to step in the shoes of facultative reinsurance underwriters and assess a risk for a factory that caught fire – calculating the estimated business interruption loss. At the end of the task we saw one contestant leave the competition after being voted off by subordinates.
This week on episode 3, the task (sponsored by Marsh) puts focus on the importance of cyber risk management. Acting as brokers, the contestants need to guide the client on a cyber security strategy after the firm experienced a ransomware attack.
