A short letter to my partners at CN&CO

Sometimes, in life, the small things go unnoticed, we are so busy dealing with everything else, that we often forget to stop and think about what we have achieved and the magic we create. Being our financial year end, I thought the below was appropriate.

We are a passionate, dynamic, distinctive bunch of individuals who are so damn different in so many ways, yet all have a similar goal, to succeed, to succeed for ourselves and succeed with and for our clients. Some of us are good at it, others are great at it, and a few of us are still learning about what defines this success. We are culturally diverse, some religious, others agnostic and a few who are very spiritual in their own right. All of us have had different upbringings, some have battled through life, a lot, others not. Some of us have decades of experience and some of us give perspective to life in general. Besides, age is irrelevant.

We will always have each other’s backs, we will always praise each other’s wins and make sure we address each other’s faults This is not to criticise; take it as an opportunity to grow.

We challenge the status quo, but not enough; we believe in ourselves, but not enough; we have fun and most of us take what we do seriously not ourselves.

We are all about family, and it is clear that is what comes first. It does make it easier that we are our own family as CN&CO. Next week, Josie will be having baby number two and I wish her all the best as she wraps up work stuff. I cannot wait to meet the new addition to the CN&CO family.

I do believe we all want to make a difference in the world, in our own world and in the world of those around us. We strive always to go the extra mile and be 10 steps ahead. We do try, but we often get so caught up in the unnecessary things that we miss this completely. We sometimes put so much effort, time and energy into our “clients” that we tend to forget about communicating enough with each other. This is not a bad thing as we are reminded that we are still only human.

I often visit our website to be reminded about what we do, how much we do and the amount of cool shit we do! I reminisce about our very first clients and how they have stuck with us through ups and downs, the new dynamic clients we have had come on board and the incredible mix of clients at CN&CO.

Why does all this matter to me? Well, because each of us brings our own dynamic to the business, our little (not so little) company which is so beautifully fucking unique. What we come up with and what we produce is magnificent. We are transparent, we are real and most of all we are human beings always striving to be better.

Let’s continue to make a difference; let’s continue to give a shit; let’s continue to make magic for ourselves, our clients and our little (not so little), crazy, fucking unique company we call CN&CO.
