Below is the latest announcement from the FANews team relating to the 2018 Insurance Apprentice:

Taking TIA to the next level

As with any great concept, it is important that we keep on evolving the concept! And we are doing just that…

This year we will be introducing an exciting new initiative! In order to promote career development and jump start future contestants opportunities in the industry.

We will be bringing in eight graduates to be part of filming week. The initial idea is that the graduates will come from the same company each final apprentice will come from; but we will share more detail on this a bit later. The bottom line is; if you believe one of your employees will reach the final eight of The Insurance Apprentice; please start engaging with HR or management on a possible process of identifying a graduate within your company for a training session of note during The Insurance Apprentice filming week which will be from 7 to 12 January 2018. If you are keen to get more detail on this please feel free to contact Rianet Whitehead – rianet@fanews.co.za.

The criteria for the graduate who will join the apprentice during filming week is to have at least a three year degree and they should not have more than two years insurance industry experience and we would prefer EE candidates although not compulsory.

Playing more of the mentee, the graduate will not intricately be visible on camera but will be there to learn and experience the different facets of the industry. The purpose of this is to jump start and expose them to the industry and get these future contestants ready for The Insurance Apprentice and excite them about what the industry has to offer.
