Don’t miss guest speaker, Nonkululeko Gobodo, at Riversands Incubation Hub

The Riversands Incubation Hub runs a monthly business club that offers  great networking opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs. The guest speaker at this month’s business club is Nonkululeko Gobodo on 21 July at 16:00. Anyone is welcome to attend so make sure you add it to your calendar.

Since the Hub’s inception, over 60 black-owned businesses from different industries have taken advantage of the services provided for at the campus . These offerings include flexible spaces that vary in size so that they can accommodate any type of SME business and so that those businesses also have space to grow. The Hub also provides spaces suitable for various events such as:

  • Award ceremonies;
  • Breakfast presentations;
  • Community meetings;
  • Conferences;
  • Family days;
  • Graduations;
  • Product launches;
  • Industrial training; and
  • IT training.

Venues for all business occasions with conference rooms that can accommodate over 400 people, lecture halls that cater for roughly 100 people and boardrooms that cater for small groups of up to 16 people. The Hub also supports the businesses that operate from within the campus by hiring the businesses for different events such as the on-site restaurant that is run by an SME operator and supplies the snacks and meals for the conferences. Eventually the Hub could offer a self-sustaining business space but the goal is to provide services across the country which benefit the economy and foster SME development.

The Hub is located at the centre of the Riversands Commercial Park. The Riversands Commercial Park is a large commercial park that is attracting the attention of larger firms. Small businesses located at the Hub benefit from the larger businesses that are interested in the Riversands Commercial Park by providing visibility to the small businesses.
