Riders raise funds for Bokamoso Education Trust at Prudential RideLondon-Surrey

On 27-29 July 2018 thousands of cyclists took to the streets at the sixth edition of  the world’s greatest festival of cycling, the Prudential RideLondon via a guaranteed charity entries.

This year a total of 26, 270 riders completed the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, 46 and 19 sportives in wet and windy conditions. Among them were 18 riders who rode the UK Prudential Cycle race in aid of Bokamoso Education Trust.

Riding 100 miles through the streets of London and Surrey in miserable weather conditions, these riders managed to raise in excess of £16,000 (R310,000) for Bokamoso. The top two donors were, Arthur Goldberg  and Oliver Lombard, raising £3500 and £2,000, respectively. This goes a long way in helping the organisation with all our extra boarding costs for the kids.

“This is a remarkable achievement for all the riders,” says CEO of Bokamoso, Cathrine du Toit. “We would like to thank all of them for their generous contribution.”
