On the 26th of January 2020, the world was shaken by the news that the retired N.B.A. star, Kobe Bryant, and his daughter Gianna were among nine people in a helicopter that crashed near Calabasas, Calif in the United States of America.

Bryant was a legend of the game. He played his entire 20-season basket ball career in the National Basketball Association (N.B.A.) with the Los Angeles Lakers. He entered the N.B.A. straight after high school, becoming the second youngest N.B.A. player in history when the 1996–97 season opened. He also won five NBA championships.
