When things aren’t running smoothly and the world seems to be crumbling around us, it can be challenging to keep the forward momentum… but it’s at times like these that we need to keep the momentum more than ever and keep driving change.
Change isn’t easy and at times it’s downright difficult. There is some merit in the saying that the best things are those that you have had to work for.
So where does one start if you are seeking to drive change?
Well, the answer is really quite simple. Pick something and begin. Sometimes the answers we require are right in front of us and because we think they are “too simple” we ignore them.
The simple premise is that we need to show up. We need to stop thinking that someone else will take care of the task at hand. Dr Seuss, sums this up perfectly when he says , “you have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.”
My challenge to us all is to use the brains in our head and the feet I our shoes to drive change and create a world that we can be proud of. Don’t let things hold you back, start today.
