Please help Ann with her Master’s research

Friends and followers of CN&CO will have heard of our good friend and partner-in-the-arts, Ann Roberts. Ann is a jill-of-all-trades in the art world and our go-to person for all things art related. She’s been involved in music, film, TV, visual arts, publishing, performing arts – you name it, she’s done it.

Ann’s Joburg-based gallery, TMRW, is doing amazing things in the world of digital art and virtual reality. Last year she formed part of the team that put together the fabulous South African Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (a project that CN&CO was also involved in) and was also one of our ConFab speakers.

In between all of this – and while also being a super-mum! – Ann is busy doing a Master’s degree at Wits. Her research focuses on the factors that drive demand for contemporary visual art among individual buyers in South Africa.

“The purpose of the research is to gain knowledge of the contemporary visual art market that could potentially influence policy and strategies to grow the market,” she says.

So, as a friend/follower of CN&CO, we would appreciate your support in helping Ann to gather as much data as she can for her research by participating in a short online survey. The survey is anonymous, has 27 questions and should take no longer than 5 to 10 minutes to complete. (We know this to be true because we have done it!)

There is no remuneration for participation, other than the feeling of goodwill you’ll get when you click the submit button at the end, knowing that you’ve helped a fellow CN&CO friend and contributed towards research into the arts in South Africa.

Follow this link to participate in the survey – and feel free to share with all your friends!
