PETCO and EXTRUPET to donate school desks made out of recycled plastic
On the Sunday, 17th September 2017, Joburgers will come together to clean the city as part of the Joburg City Clean up initiative by PETCO; a fun day making a difference. It doesn’t stop here, PETCO and EXTRUPET have agreed to sponsor 10 double school desks made from recycled plastic to CITYKIDS school who are building two new classrooms.
This is incredibly generous and another reminder that there are many uses for waste and through cleanups and education we can use waste to make a positive difference in the world around us. Landfill space is limited and the overflow of litter and waste is affect our water and health. All the more reason to join the Joburg City Cleanup and make a difference.
