Take off with your Satrix investments, wine in hand.

Picture this: CN&CO’s Carel Nolte on his phone (not hard to imagine) rushing through Cape Town International to board a flight back to Joburg. On the other end of the line is Nerina Visser of etfSA in the EasyEquities recording studio in Johannesburg, patched through to Carel via speakerphone. The sound engineer presses record and the conversation begins…

Nerina is currently busy with the Satrix International ETF IPO Roadshow. That’s a lot of TLAs, right? Here’s a glossary:

  • ETF = exchange traded fund: A bunch of instruments (like shares and bonds) grouped together and traded on the stock exchange
  • IPO = initial public offering: The first time that a stock (or in this case an ETF) is available to the public
  • TLA – three-letter acronym: Obviously

Satrix recently launched an IPO for three international ETFs…

  • Satrix MSCI World ETF
  • Satrix MSCI Emerging Markets ETF
  • Satrix S&P 500 ETF

… which are available now on SatrixNOW, Easy Equities and etfSA.

But back to the multi-city, on-the-run conversation between Carel and Nerina: They chatted about many important things, including Sauvignon Blanc, singing in a choir, and Stellenbosch University. Nerina also dropped in some pearls of wisdom about why Satrix International ETFs are so important and how we as investors can benefit.

Best of all, the whole thing was recorded, which means you can listen to this short podcast to hear what they said… and then invest in your future today.
