Mzansi Youth Choir performs Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ in Zulu outside Buckingham Palace

The Mzansi Youth Choir travelled to London in April 2017 to represent Africa at the International Youth Choir Festival at The Royal Albert Hall. Mzansi was one of eight leading world youth choirs selected to participate.

This is a video (below) of the choir spontaneously performing an a cappella rendition of Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ in Zulu outside the gates of Buckingham Palace. The performance attracted a huge crowd, who were transfixed by the way in which the African harmonies complimented the famous pop song. The international popstar sensation, Justin Bieber, is due to arrive in South Africa this week where he will be performing songs from his latest album, Purpose as well as some of his previous hits (like ‘Baby’) in Johannesburg and South Africa.

RMB is a proud partner of the Mzansi Youth Choir, which perfectly demonstrates the positive power of #ThinkingPullingTogether for South Africa’s creative economy.
