Mzansi Tenors to perform at the Baxter Theatre

The Mzansi Tenors are taking South Africa by storm! Founded during lockdown by
University of Cape Town music lecturer Sipho Fubesi, the tenors have since delivered a
number of world-class performances to delighted audiences across the country.

The Mzansi Tenors made a name for themselves at the Rand Merchant Bank Starlight
Classics concert in Cape Town when they released their single ‘Qaqamba Nyana Wam’.
They received a standing ovation and have since performed around the country.
And now the Mzansi Tenors are coming to the Baxter Theatre for a once-off evening of
matchless entertainment. The singers will be accompanied by Sam Riedel on piano and
hosted and emceed by legendary music maestro, Richard Cock.

“People can expect a high-energy performance of some great music from famous opera
arias to musicals, and rousing South African songs,” says Cock.

Presented in collaboration with Rand Merchant Bank, The Mzansi Tenors in Concert will
take place at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town on 28 October 2022 at 19h00.
