CN&CO’s Cape Town representative was invited to join Refilwe Moloto to speak about inequality on Cape Talk.

We need to be open to challenging and uncomfortable conversations. South Africa and most of the world is facing some of its biggest challenges from inequality to climate change.

Putting our head under the sand won’t work, we need to encourage radical ideas and conversations. Holding on to old systems and structures won’t fix the massive challenges we face.

Refilwe Moloto, a Cape Talk presenter, brought up the topic of crime and inequality in Cape Town on her show after the recent Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel robbery, and the community response was alarming. This led to Blake Dyason joining to speak about Brownie Points and how companies, individuals and technology can play a role in closing the gap of inequality.

It’s worth listening to.
