CN&CO’s Gianluca Tucci and Colin Ford visited Riversand Incubation Hub to facilitate a social media working session, on 10 March 2017.

Riversands is a business incubator supporting black-owned SMEs and entrepreneurs to develop their own businesses. It provides and facilitates access to a rich range of entrepreneur and business development support services that – existing and aspiring – entrepreneurs can use to create and grow their businesses.

The duo gave a social media talk to a group of around 45 SME owners from a variety of industries, discussing the ways in which social media works and how it can be used as a tool to build both personal and professional relationships.

CN&CO is happy to be associated with Riversands. We have a longstanding relationship with Jenny Retief, CEO of Riversands, and we believe solely in this initiative.

“It is such an inspirational initiative,” says Colin. “So much good is coming out of it.”

After the presentation, Jenny took Gianluca and Colin on tour around Riversands. Exposing them to the different SMEs at Riversands. They left Riversands chuffed to have been surrounded by passionate individuals who are thriving to fulfil their dreams.

Despite the challenges, Riversands continues to grow and impact South Africa’s economy through the role of entrepreneurs and SMEs.
