Jono Bruton is the new IIB deputy president

Jono Bruton has been elected deputy president of the Insurance Institute of the Border (IIB). Jono is a good friend to everyone at CN&CO and a man of many talents and passions.

“One of my prime passions is insurance, and so it’s a great honour to have been elected to this post by the institute,” says Jono, who previously served as communications officer at IIB.

In addition to being deputy president of the IIB, Jono heads up the Eastern Cape sales office of Purple Group, operates a rad online clothing business called Dead Reckoning, and runs free surfing training for the Salty Hour initiative. He is also a regular contributor on the CN&CO blog.

“Jono is a true all-rounder with a big heart and a sensible head on his shoulders,” says CN&CO’s Carel Nolte. “We wish him everything of the best in this new role – we know you’ll klap it, Jono, like you do everything else.”
