ITOO hosts its first Africa Day

On Wednesday, 11 May, the ITOO team (a client of CN&CO) hosted its first Africa Day, with guests coming from Hollard branches in Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Ghana and South Africa. ITOO, which offers liability and specialist risk insurance (underwritten by Hollard), used the event to introduce guests from each African country to the ITOO offerings and team, while enjoying good food, conversations and people.

The day’s activities started at the Italian Club of Johannesburg with a light pizza lunch, a capping ceremony where each guest was given an ITOO cap with their respective country’s flag on the back, and a presentation by ITOO’s co-founders Paolo Cavalieri and Rob Hallier.

Guests got to explore various stalls which were made up of ITOO’s product and services. Members and product champions of ITOO’s team were present at each stall talking to and getting to the know the country guests.

To conclude the afternoon, Paolo Cavalieri had a surprise for all… This led the group to CompuKart in Greenstone for an international go-carting challenge. Teams were divided into their various countries, with people from the ITOO team joining the different country teams. Each team then put their “pedal to the metal” and challenged the other teams to an endurance race. The energy and competition was high and after some brilliant driving and skills it was Team Namibia that crossed the chequered flag as the day’s winning team!

Back at the Italian Club guests were treated to an Italian dining experience and music to round up a wonderful day of relationship building, networking and fun.
