IRMSA Risk Report – South Africa Risks 2021: Now Available

The seventh annual risk report published by the Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA) has been published. The book was designed by our friends at Five2Nine and features an article by Purple Group CEO Charles Savage (on page 39).

Here’s the IRMSA blurb on the report:

Reflecting on the past year, 2020 has demonstrated the absolute necessity of risk-based decision-making in achieving our strategies, especially when confronting volatile scenarios and global risk impacts. The IRMSA Risk Report: South Africa Risks 2021 unpacks these learnings as well as the competencies we need to be successful and risk resilient organisations.

The report will highlight the integrated strategic risk and resilience mindset. And then, of course, the ability for risk management to get the message across in such a way that we don’t have any white elephants in the room anymore. That we package our information in such a way that is meaningful, impactful and has value.

The report this year recognises that we can’t just do less of the bad. We must also do more of the good. That is something the 2021 edition will focus on. We have a section in the report that talks about the call to action. What is this call to action? How are we going to change the path that we are on?

Use this Risk Report as a tool to take your organisations to the next level.
