Don’t make these mistakes when buying a new home

Consider all costs involved. Summercon does not hide any fees. Everything is covered. No transfer fees, no bond costs, no connection/utility fees.

Ensure that the levy structure is accurate and realistic and insist on a copy of the budget. You don’t want to be caught in a years’ time with a 20 to 30% levy increase. Correct levies allow you to budget well into the future. Summercon estates generally carry a 3 to 6% levy increase annually due to the accurate budget set before a development is complete.

Make sure the location is right for you. Consider the build quality and all extra features that come with the property (like appliances, after sales service and long term growth).

Refer a buyer and earn R10 000

How? It’s simple, recommend a friend or buyer who is interested in buying a new property to one of the Summercon sales team or by email.

They will provide you with a referral letter. If that referral results in a transfer of a Summercon property to the potential buyer, then upon transfer of the property, you will be paid R10 000 into your bank account.

In addition, they will give the buyer a R20 000 discount on their Summercon purchase.

In the past few months, Summercon has paid over R280 000 to people who have referred successful buyers.
