Headline sponsored by Santam, InsureTalk brings the best of the best together for a few hours every month to explore the latest trends in insurance and doing business in Southern Africa… and beyond. This month we welcome a group of brokers from Namibia, which is an exciting addition to the InsureTalk community!

There’s also an entertainment slot at each event, which keeps the energy up and the mood happy.

Whether you’re a broker, underwriter or UMA – or if you’re simply interested in the insurance industry – register today for another engaging instalment of this must-attend conference.

Here’s the line-up:

  • Spiros Fatouros, CEO of Marsh SA will talk about trends driving industry disruption and the future of insurance brokers
  • Thokozile Mahlangu, CEO of the Insurance Institute of South African, will share an update on what’s happening at the institute
  • Santam’s head of intermediary business, Andrew Coutts, will discuss the “irreplaceable” value of insurance brokers in a changing risk landscape
  • “Insurers, brokers, insurtech: How the roles continue to change” is the topic that will be addressed by Andre Symes, Genasys International MD and CGO
  • Small business guru Pavlo Phatidis will ask the question: “What do you believe you need to do right to double the size of your brokerage in the next 36 months?” (Pavlo is inviting brokers to send pre-conference questions – which he will answer during the event – to llewellyn@cnandco.com.)
  • Consultant, author and keynote speaker, Niven Postma, will provide some insight into the skilful navigation of office politics

Entertainment will be provided by one of South Africa’s favourite musical performers,  Lloyd Cele, and we’re delighted to announce that Simon Colman of SHA will occupy his traditional spot as emcee for the event.
