IICOGH Justagust newsletter is out

The Insurance Institute of Good Hope (IICOGH) is a non-profit organisation working for the betterment of the insurance community in the Western Cape region. It serves as a networking platform and an educational space for the people in insurance. While the IICOGH serve the insurance industry, they are also involved in making an impact in the community through a charity auction event they host annually. CN&CO offers marketing communication services and support to the IICOGH, as well as across three other regional insurance institutes – Gauteng, KZN, Border and The Insurance Institute of South Africa.

The past few months have been memorable and yet exciting times for IICOGH. So far it held exciting events, with which the Wine Auction, held in June, stood out. With the involvement of 140 brokers, insurers and industry players, IICOGH managed to raise close to R100 000 towards charity. In celebration of women’s day, The Association of Women in Insurance (AWII) held their Annual Ladies Luncheon, which was sponsored (among others) by The Fulcrum group. The event was successful.

The month of August is coming to an end and is making way for the new season. The IICOGH aims to make what’s left of the year count. In the regular newsletter – the Justagust – where you are kept in the loop with all insurance news, this month, you can look forward to the following events and more:

  • A launch of a brand new event – Mix ‘N Match Soccer Day – To be held on the 26 August 2016, at Century City. This is a fun mix and match soccer day aimed at getting people out and active. It costs R150 per player (includes meals and refreshments). RSVP to info@iicogh.co.za by 12 August.
  • Do not miss the Bollywood themed IICOGH Annual Gala dinner, 13 November 2016, at The lookout in V&A Waterfront. RSVP to info@iicogh.co.za by 17 October 2016.
