Is there one thing that you wish someone had told you earlier in your life’s journey? Or are there life lessons that you would like to share with others to help them get a head start?
“I wish someone had told me” is a series of posts that feed into our inquisitive nature at CN&CO. Each week we hear from someone in our network about something interesting or surprising that’s recently happened or occurred to them – or lessons they learnt. I am up this week. These blogs are a way to pay it forward and form part of CN&CO’s belief that the world can be a better place – and we all have a responsibility to make it so.
This blog series is quite phenomenal and forms a special part of my weekly reading. It features diverse stories, life lessons and personal reflections. I enjoy catching up and reading about how people in the CN&CO network are navigating life’s journey.
We are all individuals and I am quite confident that everyone who completed the sentence at the start of this blog, would have referenced a different phrase, lesson, or thought.
Keeping our individuality in mind, here’s a challenge for you to think about this week. Let’s share more, be more open, and have more conversations with people around us. The world is currently in the information age, there is loads of information, data, lessons, and insights at our finger tips. However, if we don’t share and use it then we aren’t evolving.
In writing this blog, “I wish” for us to all embrace the future that we have in front of us and to share more.
Ps. As we navigate the future, here is a perspective that asks us to stand up and contribute to the sharing economy. I shared this video with a few friends and I think it’s relevant to share far broader as we embrace change.
