“I wish someone had told me” is a series of posts that feed into our inquisitive nature at CN&CO. Running around and constantly working is what I do best. For years I have dedicated every second of my life towards workings and chasing success in life. I hardly ever made time to go on holiday or just taking an off day. I feel lost when I don’t have multiple projects running at the same time.

After burning out and being diagnosed with psoriasis I realised that it is time to change things up a bit. This was also made possible by joining the CN&CO team and working remotely. This enables me to work from wherever I can plug my laptop in and have internet connectivity.

I decided in August to take a couple of days off and relax in the beautiful Phuket. Taking the time to relax a bit makes you clear your mind and gives you the energy to tackle life with all you have to offer.

There is a big difference between being busy and being successful. I have learned how to work smarter and more efficiently. By taking time to also clear my mind, spend time with friends and just relax a bit gives me the opportunity to reflect on life and plan better. If we work smarter there is no reason to burn yourself out. What use are you anyway when you are exhausted and not functioning at all.

The CN&CO team thrives in our lifestyle business model and I personally think that is why we deliver phenomenal results for our clients. We use our experiences in life to create experiences for others. Seeing the world and living life enables us to be creative and conceptualise unforgettable events.
