“Heroes” one of Google’s most searched terms in 2019

Have you ever wondered what everyone else is searching for when they open up the internet?

With the calendar year drawing to a close, I am spending some time reflecting on 2019 and everything that has occurred. Many brands and businesses are also using this time to share their learnings from 2019 and the trends that they expect to unfold into 2020.

Individuals around the world spend an increasing amount of time online – a growing inter-connectivity is probably the best way to describe this movement. Each year Google release an insight into some of their most searched terms, this year it’s “heroes”.

Throughout history, when times are challenging, the world goes looking for heroes. And this year, searches for heroes — both superheroes and everyday heroes — soared around the world.
