Happy ValenTHAIne’s Day!

There’s something delicious in-store for customers at Orient, Wangthai, So Yum and Kong this Valentines Day…

Every year on the 14th of February, people around the world exchange cards, candy, gifts or flowers with their special “valentine”. This is a day renowned for being the most romantic of the year. The tradition of giving gifts to loved ones is thought to have originated from a Roman Festival known as Lupercalia, dedicated to Faunus, the Roman God of agriculture. During the celebrations boys would draw names of girls from a box and the pair would be partners during the festival.
