Get your travel insurance sorted, easily

I was so exited about my amazing trip to Bhutan and Thailand at the end of 2015 that I almost forgot about travel insurance! While many of us may have medical insurance via our medical aid, this cover may not be adequate and also does not take into account all the other unforeseen happenings that can confront one during a holiday.

While I was finding out what my medical aid covered while travelling overseas, I saw that it was minimal, with many exclusions. Since my team mate at CN&CO, Carel, had an accident in Canada two years ago (which resulted in the very efficient paying of a claim that totalled over R200 000 by Discovery) and since one of our friends at CN&CO (and our own broker) is Barker Insurance Brokers, Carel hooked me up with Rhett Barker.
