THE INSURANCE CONFERENCE 2016  – BUSINESS UNUSUAL

We look forward to welcoming you to Sun City on the 24 July 2016 for  our 43rd conference.  The support of attendance this year is appreciated as we have in excess of 1300 attendees.  Arrive safely and we look forward to interacting with you again this year.

SALESFORCE1 CONFERENCE APP

This year you will be able to experience the conference using the Salesforce1 App brought to you by one of our exhibitors, thryve. By downloading and installing the Salesforce1 App on any mobile device, Apple or Android, you will be able to:

– Get the conference programme with the individual events taking place during the
day and evening.
– Get information on each of the sessions and interact with the presenter of each
session using Chatter. With Chatter you will be able to:

–  Network and interact with each other.

– Receive content that is shared by the various session presenters after their
sessions and engage with them by asking questions and sharing insights.

–  Receive information that is shared by the conference organisers.
– Lookup your and other delegate table and seating assignment for the Allianz, Africa
Re Gala & Awards Dinner.

– thryve will also host an exciting competition called the “thryve Challenge” within the
App. The thryve Challenge will comprise a series of puzzles that will allow you to
grow “sales opportunities” within the Salesforce1 App.  There are exciting prizes
available for the top “sales person” for each day and for the entire conference.

More information about the Salesforce1 App such as how to download it, how it works and how you can win the prizes will be contained in an email that will be sent to you shortly directly from thryve. thryve will also be available at registration on Sunday and throughout the conference at their exhibition stand number 6 in the Atrium to assist you with downloading and using the Salesforce1 App.
Transfers to Sun City

Should you require a transfer from the airport to Sun City, you may contact Lisa Hood on 0713820993 or email lisa-annehood@outlook.com. Transfers are for your own account.

Attached is the delegate list for your information. Copies will not be available in the delegate packs. Please print for your use.  A delegate list is available on our website for delegates wishing to make contact to set meetings up.

Remember to bring along your business cards to enter the many competitions at the various exhibition stands and to swop with Networkers.

Name Badges

Check in at Registration in the Sun Sky Atrium on Sunday afternoon from 14h00 – 18h00 to collect your delegate bag and name badge which needs to be displayed at all times. Registration will be open from 07h30 on Monday and Tuesday for day delegates to register.
Electronic registration of delegates will be performed by LUMI staff. Please bring your ID, drivers licence or passport to be scanned to enable professional members to qualify for 11 CPD Hours.

FREE WI FI

Free WiFi of 10Mbps dedicated Conference Bandwidth will be provided from 23 to 26 July 2016 in the Sun Sky Village Conference Centre The SSID is “TIC2016” and the password is “11sa2016”.
