FIA COVER Short-Term Broking Summit set to be the biggest intermediary event of 2016

The 2016 FIA COVER Short-Term Insurance Broking Summit, which takes place on 18 April at the Sandton Convention Centre, promises to be the highlight of the intermediary calendar in 2016.

The list of speakers and panellists reads like a who’s-who in the short-term insurance industry: Paolo Cavalieri of iTOO, Gideon Galloway of King Price Insurance, Christelle Colman of MUA, Adrian Gore of Discovery, Luke McKend of Google SA and Nick Binedell of GIBS Business School, to name but a few. CN&CO’s Carel Nolte will be emceeing the event, which is expected to attract more than 800 high-level insurance delegates from across the country.

“The theme of the event BROKER–INNOVATOR–DISRUPTOR says it all,” he says. “Having worked closely with many insurance companies and intermediaries ourselves, we are well aware of the trends in the industry, particularly the rise of innovation as a major disruptive force.”

Not that that’s necessarily a bad thing.
