Fall nine times, get up ten / OR / AllLife, all awesome

They say “fall nine times, get up ten.” Getting knocked down happens to the best of us, it’s what you do to pick yourself up that counts. On 21 June 2014, a fire broke out destroying AllLife’s Johannesburg offices. The fire happened less than three months after moving into their new offices at 209 Smit Street. AllLife did not let this get them down. They got right back up and rebuilt, and have since been awarded the Most Effective Recovery Award 2015 (for Africa) from Business Continuity Africa.

CEO AllLife Group, Ross Beerman accepted the award at a function in Sandton on 18 August 2015. He commented, that, “An awesome team effort meant we lost only one day of operations in Johannesburg as a result of the disaster. It is a credit to the team as it shows that, with great planning and execution, one can fire proof a business. A day later it was obvious that the building had burnt, but the business was fine. Since we started in 2004, AllLife has developed a culture of change-readiness and ownership within the business. This culture is represented by the team work ethic that is embedded in every member of the company. It is clear that we have built a calm, structured team and a robust business, ready and able to take on any challenge. With the necessary foresight concerning business continuity planning and investment, and focused execution, the business has come through stronger than ever.” Halls, who we do work with, are partners of AllLife, and do great work within their respective market.
