EasyEquities to compete for (another) global fintech award

March started with a bang! Into the third month of 2017 and EasyEquities is continuing on the winning streak that it’s been on since… well… since it started! This time the spoils were claimed in Abu Dhabi, where EasyEquities’ Charles Savage and Almero Oosthuizen scooped yet another victory on the world stage.

The EasyEquities investment platform impressed the judges at the regional Temenos Innovation Jams session to such an extent that Charles and Al will be presenting at the world finals in Lisbon at the end of April.

The jam was hosted by Abu Dhabi Global Market, were eight fintech innovators from Africa and the Middle East presented a live demo of their offerings.

How much detail can you fit into a seven-minute demo? Charles and Al managed to fit in a huge amount and demonstrated a number of the cool functions that EasyEquities has, from vouchers, recurring investments, bundles and loads more. You can register for and EasyEquities account here, it’s really #Easy (pun intended).

This was one of a series of Innovation Jams.

“The Jams are competitions which take place in five cities (Singapore, Miami, Abu Dhabi, London and Geneva) aimed at finding the most interesting fintech start-ups from across the globe,” says Ben Robison, chief strategy & marketing officer at Temenos. “The winners from each Jam Session will meet at the Temenos Community Forum in Lisbon at the end of April where they will battle between themselves to be crowned the global Innovation Jam champion.”

The even incorporates a two-day conference that sees leading fintech enthusiasts from around the world gather together under one roof. On the second day, the 10 finalists will pitch their demos in a seven-minute slot, after which the public attendees will select the winning concept.

A phenomenal achievement for the EasyEquities team!
