#DiscoverJoburg with Willis Re

CN&CO has been privileged to host Willis Reinsurance this week by providing an eclectic mix of evening activities that showcase the character of Johannesburg. While the week’s programme still has two nights to conclude, the previous two were nothing short of spectacular.

Reading about our country’s history

On Monday a special night tour of Constitution Hill was held exclusively for Willis Re. Entertaining global and local delegates from their week-long training programme, CEO of Willis Re South Africa, Natalie van de Coolwijk exclaimed it was a “very special evening showcasing the history of our country and how far the country has come in the past 100 years.”

After the tour concluded the 5 Star Street Chef foodtruck “Martha’s Mojo” provided some local cuisine ranging from pap and wors, bobotie and bunny chow. Martha’s Mojo definitely proved that street food can be gourmet in a big way.

Feeling the vibe of the Living Room

Tuesday’s entertainment consisted of visiting the Maboneng Precint and later relaxing in the Living Room, Joburg’s very own jungle oasis. It boasts vertical gardens, trees and the occasional bird making it a unique rooftop venue in the city. Delicious snacks and drinks went down well and concluded another successful evening for Willis Re. Thank you to Tony from Cover for joining us and adding to the experience.

CN&CO is looking forward to the next two nights of #DiscoverJoburg with Willis Re and creating an experience of the city that the delegates wont soon forget.
