Craig Rodney talks golfing in Bintan with Premier Magazine

There is no doubt that playing golf when on holiday is worlds apart from your regular Saturday fourball. For starters, the pressure is off: When you are away from home, there is a good chance you would not be familiar with the course you are visiting – so you are at a natural disadvantage when it comes to improving your score. But then again, when you go on holiday and play on a course you have never played before, your priorities are different – it is more about the setting and the journey than getting to the end of the round and handing in your score. 
In the March issue of Premier Magazine, Craig Rodney sheds some highlights from his recent golfing trip to Club Med Bintan. An avid golfer, Rodney had this to say “I am a big believer in playing new courses, because the more often you play the same course, the less things surprise you, which actually makes it less enjoyable for me.”
