CN&CO #SharingTheLove: Andrea Bocelli

Apart from the work we do with our awesome clients and partners, CN&CO is also involved in a number of projects and organisations that make a big difference in the lives of many people.

Over the next few weeks we will share some of these with you and invite you to join us in uplifting the individuals and communities involved in these projects…

Carel has worked with the South Coast Hospice for a number of years and it is through this organisation, its CEO, Diane van Dyk, and the CEO’s family that two young people have been gifted the opportunity to watch the great Andrea Bocelli live this week.

Di, her sister Trish Beaumont, and their whole family have made these two tickets available to Andrea Bocelli’s performance in memory of their father Norman Salt. The tickets were made available to two people who would not normally have had this opportunity. To help make this happen we contacted South Africa’s only commercial classical music radio station, our partner Classic1027.

With the help of CN&CO and Classic1027 Norman Salt’s family has been able to gift these two tickets, in his memory, to Bongani Siweya and Lindelwa Khumalo.

Bongani is 22 years old and he has been playing the violin since 2012. He performs from time to time and he teaches young children to play the violin. Lindelwa is also 22 years old she is a trainee violinist. She started playing when she was still in primary school and she has “desires to take this talent further in life.”

Both are very excited about the opportunity and they are very grateful to Di, Trish, and their family.

“I’m so pleased that this will touch their lives,” says Di, moved. “Music is a wonderful thing,” she adds.

We, as CN&CO, are delighted that we have been able to add value to the lives of our partners, our friends, and two talented young people. Truly 1+1 equals more than 22.
