Every Monday morning there’s a brilliant column that goes up in Business Day and on www.bdlive.co.za by Mark Barnes, chairman of Purple Group.
Although the column is always about complex issues (today’s is about the VW cheating scandal, the ripples it’s caused in the motor industry globally, and the impact it’s had on “brand Germany”) it’s always easy to understand and written with wonderful clarity of thought. It’s a great way to get the brain juices flowing on a Monday morning.
Here are the past few weeks’ columns:
- Cheating is not part of rivalry
- Data privacy an inviolable right
- How to outsmart global bullies
- STRAIGHT TALK: Mind the gap, it’s time to share
