CN&CO lighting the “VUUR EN VLAM” at Innibos this year…

Every winter Nelspruit turns up the heat with one of the hottest festivals in our country – Innibos. Innibos is a well established festival in the heart of the Lowveld and has won the prestigious Fiesta award four times now for “Festival of the year”. This year the festival is from 26 June UNTIL 30 June 19.

I will be heading down to Nelspruit to attend and support this festival – as I try and do every year. CN&CO team mate Carel will be joining as well as well-known PR personality, my best friend Jenny Griesel. Lizelle Van Der Merwe (CEO of the Financial Intermediaries Association of South Africa) and her husband Pieter round off our group. Jenny and I are really excited to introduce Carel, Lizelle and Pieter to their first Innibos experience ever.

Innibos has something for everyone – from music, Book discussions, art exhibitions, theatre productions, opera, and one mind blowing main stage at night – just to mention a few. Then there are amazing stalletjies, the best pancakes in the world and thrilling rides for young and old.

In 2019, Innibos has launched a brand new initiative called “Klub 20”. This initiative was formed so that people and companies that appreciate and love supporting the arts can be part of the movement to help fund the productions happening at the festival. The funds go towards sound, lighting etc. to help artist have a platform to launch their products and careers in the arts. With CN&CO being a member of Business Arts South Africa and Carel Nolte being on the board of BASA we didn’t even think twice to be a part of the Klub 20. 20 people and companies donated R 10 000 to this worthy cause bringing in a total of R 200 000.00

We hope to see many familiar faces at this year’s Innibos festival. You can follow our festival experience on social media @cnandco
