The CN&CO team comprises 13 individuals, each with unique skill sets and varying passions and interests. This diverse culture plays a big role in the type of content you’ll find on our blog, to which each team member contributes. Having our business set up as a “lifestyle business”, it is encouraged that each member of the team travels and does things out of the ordinary in order to gain more perspective of the world, which is a large influence to what you see in our series of blogs below:
I wish someone had told me
“I wish someone had told me” is a series of posts that feed into our inquisitive nature at CN&CO. Each week we hear from someone in our network about something interesting or surprising that’s recently happened or occurred to them – or lessons they learnt. These blogs are a way to pay it forward and form part of CN&CO’s belief that the world can be a better place – and we all have a responsibility to make it so…
The Ink Link
The Ink Link is an ongoing project at CN&CO that showcases tattoos in the workplace. One of the great things about a tattoo is it goes against the commonly-held viewpoint that “what you see is what you get”. There’s a misguided belief in certain quarters that in order to be a working professional, it is categorically *impossible* to have a tattoo…because how can someone with a tattoo be a professional? We are putting paid to that perception through the stories showcased in the Ink Link.
Watching TED Talks is a popular pastime at CN&CO. We visit TED.com regularly to clear our heads, have a laugh or get inspired. TED Talks open our minds, spark new ways of thinking and can lead to some very interesting conversations. Each week we pick a favourite and publish it on a Tuesday, because we like how “TED Talk Tuesday” sounds.
The Company We Keep
The Company We Keep is a new column on the CN&CO blog that profiles some of the most interesting people in our networks. Here we share the details of the lives of people we know, showcasing the extraordinary diversity of our society and proving that people truly are at the heart of everything we do.
Where were YOU at noon on Thursday?
A little ritual we have adopted is to request all team mates to drop their WhatsApp location and let us in on what they are busy with. This is a way of touching base with what everyone has on their plate. The WhatsApp pin drops are as diverse as can be, showing just how much magic we are spreading all around.
In The Saddle
Josh Nuttall, an avid cyclist with a close affiliation to many on the CN&CO team, regularly publishes the thoughts that occur to him while he’s out on his bike. Here are a few of his most recent posts:
