Business and Arts South Africa (BASA) is compiling a database of facilitators to draw from when additional and/or new facilitators are needed for the organisation’s training programmes targeting artists and arts organisations.


  • An appropriate qualification
  • At least three years’ experience in facilitation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Good communication skills in at least one South African language
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Good organisational skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Must be willing to travel


  • Participate in curriculum development
  • Deliver course content to participants in BASA’s education programmes
  • Ensure high quality of content delivery
  • Provide feedback to and draft assessment reports for participants
  • Compile reports to the relevant BASA programme manager
  • In cooperation with the relevant programme manager, ensure that all targets are met on time
  • Participate in monitoring and evaluation and reporting processes in cooperation with the research team
