Big week for South African rowing

While the South African rowing team made their way to the Olympic Village in Tokyo after an intense training camp in Japan, the South African U23 rowing team made us proud at the World Rowing U23 Championship in Racice, Czech Republic.

World Rowing U23 Championships

Kat Williams made us proud after an impressive performance in the Women’s Single Scull Semifinals securing her place in the A finals. Kat showed incredible courage and determination in the finals bringing home the bronze medal.

Thabelo Masutha and Stephane Pienaar came first in the C finals.


Tokyo Olympics

The Olympic village is open and the games start on 23 July 2021. The RMB National Squad qualified two boats for the Tokyo Olympics, the Heavy Weight Mens Four and the Heavy Weight Mens Pair.
