Adidas used 1.8 million plastic bottles to construct a football field

Globally, brands are taking innovate steps to address sustainability. Consumers are increasingly aware of the decisions that they are taking and there is a shift in consumer behaviour to support products that are trying to address climate change.

Adidas is a leading thinker in this environment and has launched the parley collection. Under this banner Adidas shows how it’s fighting for plastic-free oceans by turning plastic trash into high-performance sportswear.

Recently a story broke about Adidas and a football field that it had help build from 1.8 million bottles. The field made from upcycled plastic waste was donated to Miami Edison High School.
