2018 a record year for Club Med

Club Med is one of our fabulous partners. We handle Club Med’s PR in South Africa, we manage its blog site, and have recently been appointed to manage its South African social media channels!

Recently, Club Med released the results of its performance for 2018 and it was a record year! We are proud to be a part of the amazing international team that has helped contribute to this. In 2018, Club Med had its highest growth in business volume for 6 years; all its geographical areas saw growth; customer numbers are up by over 6%; and more.

The report details the increase in operating profitability, the success of the Happy Digital strategy which focuses on keeping Club Med competitive digitally, the strong growth in customer numbers (what Club Med calls GMs), the acceleration of resort openings, and some information on the bookings for 2019 so far. It is an interesting read and further proof that Club Med is the best choice when it comes to epic, all-inclusive holidays.

“If someone asked you to describe a travel brand or holiday that you have recently been on, where would you begin? Personally, I look at the experience that I have had. When it comes to an experience, Club Med is the leader in this and I am not just talking about its all-inclusive offering,” says our Joshua who is part of the team that works on the Club Med account.
