2017 is the year of connections

CN&CO’s involvement in the financial services industry is widespread and diverse, from insurers and underwriters to intermediaries and service providers – we pretty much have the industry covered.

“Insurance is undoubtedly an environment that CN&CO thrives in,” says CN&CO chief señor Carel Nolte. “The context of being involved with the broader financial industry is one of special importance to us. Being able to link people and organisations in ways that might appear unconventional at first, allows us to develop relationships to yield new benefits for our clients.

“Rand Merchant Bank (RMB)’s continued sponsorship of South African rowing is an example, as is EasyEquities’ investment education drive into schools and universities. These aren’t obvious links, but they work!”

Our ability to spot these links is one of the things that prompted the Financial Services Board (FSB) to pursue a formal working relationship with CN&CO.

“We will be working with the FSB on a consumer education campaign later in the year, in keeping with the board’s mandate to develop South Africa’s financial wellbeing holistically.”

To recap, here are some of our other clients in the financial services sector:

We also have close working relationships with the Insurance Institute of South Africa and a number of regional insurance associations, namely Border, KZN, Gauteng, and Cape of Good Hope.

“Everything is linked to everything else,” says Carel. “Connections are what keep us going, and at CN&CO we strive to find new connections wherever we can.”
