KZN #FIAPower Session knockout, 19 February

Round two of the #FIAPower Sessions, took place on 19 February 2018, at Mount Edgecombe Country Club in Durban.

The response from the KZN delegates was overwhelming which saw a full house attendance at the Power Session.

The FIA shook things up a bit this year with the theme “2018: the year advice changed the world” – many have derived benefit from the sessions. So far, the sessions have proved to serve as a meaningful and powerful way for the FIA’s commitment to meet the needs of intermediaries in multiple financial advice disciplines.

Again the power session was nothing short of advise, education and motivation. The knowledgeable industry leaders, from the FIA national partners – Hollard Insurance, Tracker, Sasria, IUM and Liberty – kept the delegates engaged. Victor Vermeulen, a very good friend of our senor, Carel Nolte and an international motivational speaker closed the session off with a heartfelt talk, which moved a lot of delegates.

The FIA lucky draw was won by the head of insurance business at Tracker, Sandra Page. Sandra who was one of the speakers at the #FIAPower session, received R2 500 cash prize, which she decided to pass onto Victor to donate to a charity of his choice – Support Ry-Ma-In Self Help Centre, a home for quadriplegic and paraplegic people.

This lovely gesture with the biggest impact came unexpected, but is the kind of value added story we love to tell and be associated with.

Shoutout to Sandra Page!
